Reaching Out to Heaven
Sarah came to see me this week for a session. She was reaching out to make a connection with a dear girlfriend that had passed away under unusual circumstances. The loss to Sarah of her beloved friend Kim was devastating Words of comfort were not what she came to visit me for. No. She wanted to make contact real contact with Kim.
Does heaven exist? Is it real? Where is my friend? All these questions were on Sarah’s lips. As I made a connection with Kim snippets of their friendship were described, a soft easy conversation between Kim’s spirit and me the medium continued for about twenty minutes.
Then all of sudden I found myself laughing and saying to Sarah.
“Kim wants to tell me about your car? Is it red?”
“Yes it certainly is. She replied”
Kim continued to talk to me.
“She says that she is coming home with you in the red car, though she will be sitting in the back seat and no need for seat belts for her.”
At this remark Sarah clasped her hand over her mouth in astonishment. She looked me straight in the eye.
“Oh my goodness, that is so amazing, I was driving my red car with Kim and we got stopped by the police as I was not wearing a seat belt, I was fined $350 on the spot. It was the most awful shock. Kim felt so responsible at the time. It took me ages to get the money together to pay that fine. Oh I know now that Kim is here talking to us both. This is going to really help me. Every time I drive my car I know she will be in the back seat too.”
“Is it necessary to say goodbye to Kim?” asked Sarah.
“Why on earth would you do that?”
“No I suggest you say hello and include her in all your daily activities and welcome her into your life as a co creator of the love that you now have inside you instead of outside you.”
Whilst the loss of Kim is still a dull ache the understanding that her spirit is in a state of love and everlasting life, ensured that Sarah now believed with out a shadow of doubt that her dear friend was not lost to her.
I explained to Sarah that she is just a loving thought away in a peaceful place and can be reached at any time. Just be still and the awareness of her presence will connect you to her always.
Spirit exists to us all when we are ready to be silent and allow the energy of peace to enter into us.
